BooSheep and Cookie called us this morning and asked us to meet them at the local outdoor mall.

Cookie had purchased GO a few cute dresses (in the current 0-3 month size she is wearing), but the fun part was watching Cookie with all three of the little grandchildren.

Baby Sheep and GO seemed to enjoy looking at each other.

We had a delicious lunch at Red Robin (I love the unlimited fries and they FINALLY have a naked burger on their menu)!

Thank you, Cookie and BooSheep for thinking of us! It was nice to spend some time with the Sheepy Cousins.

Noah's Ark

The Cub Scouts took a summer trip today to Noah's Ark (an exotic animal rescue/home). Even though we didn't have any Cub Scouts with us, Queen and Princess rode out with Hubby, GO and I to see the animals.
CDO (the Game Family Mummy) actually brought an extra stroller, which she generously allowed GO to ride in.
Princess, and the other kids, really enjoyed the animals -

- but you can see how hot it was! See her little red cheeks? It took quite a while for that to fade in the cool car.
I can't wait to take B10 and CW back when they get home.

Meeting the Cow

GO met the Chick-fil-a Cow for the first time today.

I thought she might be a bit frightened by the GIANT MOOO-COW standing in front of her, but she didn't bat an eyelash.

I'm so glad that this common occurrence in her life won't be one that scares her. We all LOVE the cow in our family!

We are really taking advantage of our Season Passes to the pool. GO and I met Hubby after work and played in the water for about an hour.

It is amazing how much fun we are having using our passes!

I am so glad GO is able to enjoy it with us. When B10 and CW get home - we are going to have SO MUCH FUN! :D

Walking With Daddy

We've been trying to be more active in the evenings (when it's cooler). Swimming is always fun, but on the nights we can't swim, we've been trying to take a walk. The whole family is working on a more healthy lifestyle.

GO is (finally) learning to sit upright for a while in her stroller. She can't stay in it for long, but she's doing better!
Of course, it helps to have Abigail to lean on. :)

Going Swimming

Twice a week our local pool has a Family Night. Doc is on vacation - so we encouraged him (and Cookie) to come out swimming with us tonight. (It may have been Cookie's idea - she really enjoyed swimming with the Sheeps last week!)

GO has about 5 swimsuits - but the ladybug one is my FAVORITE! Mum picked us up at the house, because Hubby's carpool actually parks at the pool (so they would be arriving after we did).

Since we had pool passes, we went in first and saved lounge chairs for Cookie and Doc.

GO wasn't unhappy with the water, but she had a very serious look on her face the entire time.

We played with her a bit in the children's section, before moving on to the lazy susan river. She seemed to enjoy that (and it was a great workout for Hubby).

After about an hour, she was ready to get out and get warm.

We live less than five miles from the pool, but she was asleep before we got home! It was a nice evening and I am sure we'll be going back again!

I woke up early to finish packing up all our suitcases and things. Granddaddy fed GO her bananas for breakfast (we were trying to let Hubby get as much sleep as possible - since he would be driving today).
We took pictures of the Caterpillars with Granddaddy, before loading into the truck and heading south.

Arrangements had been made to drop B10 and CW off with their dad before lunch, so most of the drive was just the three of us.

We did a bit of geocaching on the way home, and pick up one really cool travel bug. It was a cow coin that wanted to "visit" cows and farms. Hubby and I took a short side trip to have it's picture taken in Athens, TN - to see the Mayfield Dairy Plant.

GO did really well for most of the trip, sleeping soundly and not getting too fussy about being in the car.

We got home pretty late (almost 10 p.m.), but had to stop at Cookie and Doc's for a few minutes. Of course, once GO was out of her carseat she was NOT going back in. So Cookie and Doc walked her home.

The trip was wonderful, I'm already hoping to go again soon! (And missing B10 and CW terribly!)

Today is our last full day in Ohio and GO is ready to go!
Granddaddy took the day off of work and we started the morning by taking the Caterpillars to the local outdoor mall. There is a lovely little water play area for the kids and we let B10 and CW go wild.

GO sat in Granddaddy's lap, respectfully declined the invitation to play in the water.

Lunch was at the Panera Bread at the outdoor mall. I had brought clothes for the Caterpillars to change into.

After that there was a playground very close to Granddaddy and Minnie Mouse's house (with a geocache nearby). There was a LOT of fun to be had on this playground!

On the way home Minnie Mouse and I stopped by the local Office Depot to laminate CW's placemate he colored. It was very special to him and it's one of those things I'll look at when he's a grown-up and remember this trip.

For dinner, Minnie Mouse made chicken and potatoes. GO LOVED her plain potatoes.

After dinner, each person got to pick one game to play with the entire family. We had rounds of Sequence, Kings in the Corner and (of course) Blokus, before heading to bed (very late).

Leaving tomorrow is going to be hard, but we've had such a wonderful time with Granddaddy and Minnie Mouse this summer!

**This post contains a bit of unavoidable foul langauge in the form of a photo - be aware!**

Granddaddy worked a half a day today, so this morning we woke up and had a lesirurely breakfast. Hubby fed GO her bananas, much to her delight.

Then we played a few games, before Hubby and I took the Caterpillars to tour the other two hanagers at the US Air Force Museum.

B10 and CW were excited to see the rest of the musuem, while Hubby was hoping to see a B-24 (one of his grandfathers was a nose gunner during World War II). We did find a B-24 and Hubby was very excited to have his picture taken with it.

The whole family enjoyed the museum, especially going into the cool walk-through planes.

I think CW's favorite part was when GO discovered she could hang onto his ears! He really loved being her "toy".
We were home by noon, as Granddaddy intended to be home for lunch. Minnie Mouse had made Chili Mac (YUM!), then we loaded into the car for another day of geocaching.

I can't post many of the cooler pictures, in order to keep the geocaches hidden for the rest of the world (ie: the Sheeps haven't found them yet, and Granddaddy wants to take them to the same ones). But we had a blast!

B10 even found a toad and baby salamander!

Dinner was at a small family diner, which had fried dill pickles and coconut cake for dessert.

There was one more geocache we wanted to look at - and after we found it B10 and CW started playing "bumper cars" with their bodies. GO giggled at the sight!

We managed to be home in time to watch the SYTYCD: Results Show, then we headed to bed after a few board games.

I'm sad to think there is only one day left!
